In a matter of a few weeks I will be headed to Albuquerque, NM for the Biennial Convention of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).    During the convention there are two juried art shows held, the 22nd Exhibition which is open to all IAPS members and the Second Master Circle Exhibition which is only open to Master Circle artists.  You may recall that I will be receiving my Master Circle Medal at this convention as I met the criteria of being juried into 5 IAPS shows in January when I was juried into the 2013 IAPS Web Show.  Master Circle Members are not eligible to compete in regular IAPS shows when a Master Circle Show is also being held.  I was a little nervous about getting a piece into such a select show, but I am pleased to share that my painting, "Day's End" was successfully juried into the Master Circle Show.  Yes....I am definitely looking forward to the convention!
