When I finished "H is for Horse" for the letter "H" I immediately began wondering what in tarnation I was going to paint for the letter "I".  I must admit I got some fabulous suggestions from friends and family.   One idea was icicles....hmmmm.   I found myself going out to the garage and pulling down my box of Christmas ornaments.  Sure enough....there were the two boxes of clear glass icicles.  I played with them for a full day with the "I" alphabet block before I threw in the towel....just couldn't pull anything together that said "paint me!"   Another great idea I received was cake icing.  I didn't see doing a cake with beautiful icing.....but I did see professional icing bags with different colors of icing oozing out.   Needless to say....the Budan household does not have icing bags.   So I googled icing bags.....guess what....they are not cheap....and you still have to buy the icing.    Then what would I do with the bags and icing?   Another great idea suggested was ice cream....now that was a great idea!   At least until I thought about trying to get the photo of the composition I wanted to paint before it melted.  I also realized I would end up eating all the ice cream which almost cinched the deal until I realized I did not like some of the flavors involved to get the colors I would want.   At this point I went back to my computer....and just for kicks I typed in "I is for....".  Surprise, surprise...up came a list of items starting with "I".   As I scanned the options my eyes fell on the incandescent bulbs and the light in my head went on!  "I is for Incandescent Bulbs" was the winner!  No purchases necessary and calorie free!!
