"B is for Box" is the second painting in the Alphabet Block Series to be completed.  This box has special meaning for me.  I have developed a wonderful friendship with another pastel artist through Facebook.  Isabelle friended me after we were two of three pastelists featured in an article in The Pastel Journal last year.  Isabelle lives in Hong Kong, but we hope to actually meet some day at a pastel function.  Isabelle sent me a can of tea from the Hong Kong Tea House in this box and I have held on to it with all the markings of being sent from Hong Kong.   When I began thinking about objects for the letter B I immediately thought of this special box.  Thank you, Isabelle!
