"Sweet Memories", a 24" x 18" oil painting on panel, is finally done!  It seemed to take a very long time due to my physical restrictions after my recent knee replacement surgery.   Of course there is the fact that the composition was very detailed which means more time to paint as well.  In fact, I must admit that the candy buttons were a challenge as the paper tipped towards the viewer in spots and away in others.  This meant the size and shape of the candy buttons and the shadows were all different.  Certainly kept me on my toes the last part of the painting!   However, I am very happy with the results!   "Sweet Memories" will be on hold as I plan to enter it into a show.
