I was excited to get a call today from Tina Moore, President of the Pastel Society of the West Coast.  Tina called to inform me that my painting, "Reflections of Red", won the Atlantic Paper Award with a value of $250.  Needless to say, I was thrilled to hear the news!  Getting juried into the show earned me Signature Status in the PSWC which was a goal of mine.  Now with the award I have two of the three awards required to earn Distinguished Pastelist status.  You must win the three awards within a 5 year span, so I have two more years to hopefully win another award!  A big thank you to the PSWC, Atlantic Paper, and the show judges!
