"Time On My Hands" (20"x16" oil on panel) is my latest painting. I ran across the wonderful clock in a local home decor shop and fell in love with it.  I immediately thought of the concept of my husband holding the clock in his hands and calling it "Time On My Hands".   I thought this would be an easy painting as there are not a lot of details outside of the clock.  Oh was I wrong.  This one really provided me with a challenge. As expected, the clock was easy to paint.....right up my alley. It was the hands.  Oh did I struggle with the hands. I painted, I repainted, I asked for advice, I repainted, I watched YouTube videos, I repainted. I finally came to a point I decided I was done. I think I will be sticking to my bright shiny objects for awhile.
