Introducing "Peace", a 16"x20" oil painting on panel.  Once again a painting resulted from my visit to Why Hello, a small local home decor store.  As I browsed I saw this figure and the silver  dragonflies.  I knew I had to paint them.  It took awhile to come up with the setup.  This metal bowl caught my eye as  I walked into my office.  I bought it many years ago in Saugatauck, MI.  It sits on my desk with the green stones in it and a recycling water piece.  I thought the circle shape behind the figurine added to the feeling of the painting....especially with the light source coming from below.  As I looked at the setup the word that kept popping into my head was "peace".....so "Peace" it is.
