Thursday morning's check of the jury results for the 2018 Oil Painters of America's Western Regional Exhibition elicited the great news that "Appletini" (20"x16" oil on panel) was successfully juried into the show.   This year's Western Regional Exhibition will be hosted by the Mary Williams Fine Arts Gallery in Boulder, CO.  The show will run from September 7th through October 6th.  Happy dance!

What a great way to start your day.....an e-mail from Juried Arts Services indicating that "Color Riot" (16" x 16" oil on panel) was successfully juried into the National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society's 2018 Best of America Show.  This year's annual show will be hosted by Eisele Gallery of Fine Art in Cincinnati, Ohio from September 14th through October 13th.  What makes this news even more exciting for me is that getting in this show gives me the points needed for signature artist status.  Definitely a great day!
