"Appletini" Juried into OPA Western Regional Exhibition

Thursday morning's check of the jury results for the 2018 Oil Painters of America's Western Regional Exhibition elicited the great news that "Appletini" (20"x16" oil on panel) was successfully juried into the show. This year's Western Regional Exhibition will be hosted by the Mary Williams Fine Arts Gallery in Boulder, CO. The show will run from September 7th through October 6th. Happy dance!

Thanks, Micki! This one has done well for me this year. I certainly can't complain. Interesting that I kind of struggled with this one and ended up not feeling it was one of my better paintings. I entered it in the first show as a filler since you could have 3 entries for the entry price. Lo and behold it gets in and then wins an award. Go figure. Thanks for your on-going support!
