"Light Perfume" ( 16x20 oil on panel) is my second painting using fairy lights.  As I painted the first painting using these strings of little lights I found myself wondering how they would look wrapped around my cut glass perfume bottle with all it's many facets.  The setup was just as intriguing as I expected it to be.   I just love the ethereal feel to the painting.  Of most interest was how the many facets of the bottle cause reflections in the center tube for the perfume.  Just one slash of light after another.  A friend looking at it sees an angel......do you?   Such fun to paint!
