While on my recent trip to Spain I received the exciting notice that "Chocolate Martini" (20x16 oil on panel) was juried into the Oil Painters of America's 2019 Western Regional Juried Exhibition.  This show will be held at Sorrel Sky Gallery in Santa Fe, NM from November 1st through the 30th.  The reception will be held on November 1st from 5pm to 7:30 pm.  I am thinking there may be a trip to Santa Fe in my future!

I have just returned from a fabulous trip to Spain which was the trip of a lifetime with time spent in the amazing art museums.  However, while I was abroad some wonderful things happened with my own art back home.  I was so excited when I learned that "Playing With Black and White" (20x16 oil on panel) won the Best Still Life Award at the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society's 29th Annual Best of America Juried Exhibition which is currently showing at Montgomery Lee Fine Art Gallery in Park City, UT.  Between the trip and this award I am chaffing at the bit to be back in the studio!  Thank you NOAPS!
